Think of this Durant might have won all of chips already and he is done....

some how his time is running out , and Nets need to let him go.
**Most big men 6'10" or larger are typically done at 35.

He needs to be moved , to allow him the opportunity to win.

I don't think Nets will give him up unless Lakers offer AD + two firsts, and even then the Nets might just hate the Lakers enough that they wouldn't do the trade.

Durant is a perennial favorite player amongst casual fans who don't watch the boring stuff that really matters in deciding contests, especially among top teams. I've explained the "why" of this so often, no need to re-hash.

Suffice to say there will be much interest if he's on the market and the team that acquires him will not win, I can guarantee that. I said that when he left the Warriors that him and Kyrie would never win and they didn't. I'll be right again. The only team where I might eat my words is if he ends up on the Bucks or the Celtics but I doubt that.

Thanks friend.

The Suns are already a solid team. They are 19-11 this year when Booker is playing.
https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/suns-win-loss-record-with-devin-booker-2023

Their so-so record is because he's been injured.

One might say they are the best team in the West when they're healthy or on par with the Nuggets. That said, I continue to believe Durant is a TEAM defense liability (bad at help defense, leaves his man wide open breaking the team defense) and a team offensive liability (not setting screens, loligagging when he doesn't have the ball, no off ball movement, doesn't create shots for his teammate)

I sense some progress to the Suns with Booker out AND in the regular season. In the playoffs where defense is crucial and play is physical, i suspect they will lose and not even make it to the finals.

he was, is and always will be, better than Lebron.

At:
* Highlight reel ISO blow-bys
* Pure form in shooting long-distance and 3's (without an exceptional shooting %; his career 3's is 38%, barely above the league average of 36%; compare to Curry at 45%)
* The occasional block in the paint BECAUSE he's left his own man wide open (you don't see all the time the opposing team scores because he's done just that).

Pro sports are about entertainment and in that area, he delivers. The boring, unfun stuff which I listed partially above is where he fails - and that's why his teams don't win.

Welp. The Suns were actually dumb enough to trade their entire future under their new owner to make a splash for 1-2 seasons.

Considering the dude tore his freaking ACL ... what he's doing since coming back from that injury honestly is more impressive than any player in the league individually.

That injury would destroy pretty much any other player at that age.

if he could just move off the ball like Reggie, it would be nighmare-ish
