Doggystyle and The Chronic were just that good. Snoop was brought in to be the rap prodigy and he was but he fell off and 2pac took his title. It is funny how snoop has been able to parlay it into relevancy 30 years later. He’s been strictly a meme for a very long time.

Very true. He was great when he first came out on the Deep Cover soundtrack in 88 or 89 I believe, and then he blew up with his first album, but it's been downhill ever since.

Snoop was much more than 1 good album. The Chronic is arguably the greatest rap album ever made. It was era defining. That was mostly him and Dre.

He was huge part of rap's golden era.
