View Full Version : Would MJ have"worst Finals team ever" w/ EAST ALL-STAR CENTER + this acquisition?

.
05' HUGHES.... 21.6 PER.. 4.3 BPM.. 0.157 WS/48.. 3.7 VORP... 22/6/5.. 1st Team All-D
90' PIPPEN...... 16.3 PER.. 1.8 BPM.. 0.087 WS/48.. 3.0 VORP... 16/6/5.. No All-D
MJ would have a 60-win favorite if you added the East all-star center to his 1990 Bulls because stats confirm that MJ nearly beat the Bad Boys in 1990 with less help on both sides of ball than the 06-10' Cavs - this includes the #19 defense versus top 10 for the Cavs and less offensive help (Pip had less PER, WS, PPG & efficiency than all-stars Zydrunas/Mo or Hughes/Jamison acquisitions)
Lebron wins less with more because:

It's becoming common knowledge.. Lebron was only winning 45-50 games from 06-08' despite having the East all-star center and an acquisition that was superior to 1990 Pippen on both sides of the ball.. That's a joke compared to MJ.. Lebron needed all-star spacing to be MVP and have a contender in 2009, while MJ won 2 championships with the literally the worst-spacing of all-time - the biggest lane-clogger ever (https://i.ibb.co/qBBHvB1/chrome-d-EXe-R4x-E8t.jpg)..

Mj couldn't make the playoffs in the absolute worst Eastern Conference ever with that same guy on his team....or the year before with a better player in Rip Hamilton.

Big Z wasn't "THE EAST ALL-STAR CENTER" and Hughes didn't play in the finals.
Next.

In 2006, MJ would have a 60-win league favorite if his team acquired a player that was far superior to 1990 Pippen on both sides of the ball, while already having the reigning East all-star center... And the future COY and HOF coach (Brown)
Yet Lebron only won 50 games with all that, which is hardly an all-time carry-job.. Lebron needed all-star spacing to be MVP and have a contender in 2009, while MJ won 2 championships with the literally the worst-spacing of all-time - the biggest lane-clogger ever (see OP link regarding Pip's' worst-ever efficiency)

Hughes played 70 games in 2007, so that should be enough for MJ to win 60 and be favored over the garbage, 53-win Pistons who had decrepit Chris Webber starting at center... The Finals would NOT be a big mismatch like it was with Lebron's Cavs - everyone would think MJ's team had a good chance to win and he might even be favored.
Btw, 35-year MJ was 24-11 without Pip and maintained 1 seed in 1998.. He was 30-12 without Pip overall since 88'

Btw, 35-year MJ was 24-11 without Pip and maintained 1 seed in 1998, however that was when he was at the height of his wisdom about brand of ball, and maximizing chemistry by scoring in certain ways.. He could've done that in 1991 too though quite easily because he was far more dominant.
Your shit is getting weaker and weaker. Which makes sense given you only talk about two things so you're having to go to the bottom of the barrel.
Your posts now are like the kernels at the bottom of the popcorn bag. Time to move on.

Lebron was 20 years old at the start of 2006.
Jordan was still on college.
You're an idiot.
