They have been playing with you & using you, conservatives, and you fell for it head-first :oldlol:
Employees at Fox News knew that claims blaming Donald Trump’s 2020 loss on election fraud were outlandish and false, even as the network promoted them as credible, a newly unsealed court filing appears to show.
The document, which pulls from a host of internal communications from Fox News employees involved in election coverage, includes comments and quotes revealing that producers, executives and stars of the network knew that the election wasn’t stolen and that many fraud claims were bogus. The communications suggest that Fox News zeroed in on fraud claims as a way to boost ratings and appease their conservative viewers, who executives feared were abandoning the channel for other conservative media outlets — particularly after Fox News was the first network to project that Joe Biden had won the key battleground of Arizona.
A number of prominent network stars who sometimes embrace conspiracy theories on their shows said in private that they knew that Trump lawyer Sidney Powell, who filed election lawsuits to stop multiple states that Joe Biden had won from certifying their elections, was not telling the truth, according to the filings.
“That whole narrative that Sidney was pushing, I did not believe it for one second," prominent Fox News host Sean Hannity said, according to the legal filing.
According to the filing, Bill Sammon, Fox News senior vice president and managing editor of the Washington bureau, told a colleague in December that “it’s remarkable how weak ratings make good journalists do bad things.”
The filing is the latest to be made public in the $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit brought by Dominion Voting Systems, one of the largest manufacturers of U.S. voting equipment, against Fox News.
Dominion has been a frequent target of conspiracy theorists who falsely claim Trump won the 2020 presidential election. Its suit includes hundreds of pages documenting times that the network lobbed bogus allegations against the company, among them that its software was rigged against Trump and that the company was secretly owned in Venezuela.

"Watching Giuliani! Really crazy stuff. And damaging," Rupert Murdoch said in an email in mid-November, as the network he founded broadcast a lengthy, rambling press conference in which Trump lawyers Rudy Giuliani and Powell made allegations of hackable voting machines and a wide-ranging conspiracy involving foreign communists.
Tucker Carlson told a producer soon after the election that Powell “is lying” about voter fraud, the documents show. Carlson would text Fox News host Laura Ingraham the same thing later in the month, adding that “it’s insane” and “it’s unbelievably offensive to me. Our viewers are good people and they believe it.”
“She is a f------ nutcase,” wrote Carlson’s producer, Alex Pfeiffer, referring to Powell.
“This dominion s--- is going to give me a f------ aneurysm,” Ingraham's producer, Tommy Firth, wrote at one point, according to the filing. Firth had concluded the Dominion claims were false, according to the filing.

What MAGAS don't understand is that everyone at FOX News thinks they are stupid.
From the executives to the hosts--they are all lying to you & laughing at you at the same time.
They all knew the Big Lie was bullsh!t.
But they pushed it anyway.
And you don't even seem to care.
Pathetic.

You have to understand that the fox viewer base consists of some of the least intelligent people in the country. They can be told that they're being lied to and they will still believe the lies.

P.S. Your hero Elon musk was hanging out with Murdoch during the superbowl. Is Elon musk also secretly still a Democrat & liberal?

Dude, do your research. I can't do your research for you. Rupert Murdoch handed Fox News over to his sons who are Liberal. I have no idea what Party affiliation Rupert Murdoch is and frankly, I don't care nor does it matter. Just as it doesn't matter what political affiliation Elon Musk is. I don't think there's one Conservative out there that thinks Elon is Conservative. He certainly isn't some wacky Liberal either. You're too addicted to Party politics.

Everyone knows Biden won. The only people who actually buy into mass voter fraud across multiple states are absolutely covered in tin foil and also believe the Earth is flat.
I hope Trump and people like Kari Lake keep pushing it though as it is the main issue keeping Dems afloat and the reason midterms weren't a complete loss.

Biden won by ballot harvesting. While not illegal, it's extremely shady. I only hope Republicans beat you at your own game one day.

One of the Fox News executives and also producer:
The files released in connection to the $1.6bn defamation lawsuit against the company by Dominion Voting Systems also revealed that Fox Corporation executive Raj Shah, who had served as a spokesman in the Trump White House before making the jump, blasted the then-president’s personal lawyer and ex-New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani as he spoke at the headquarters of the Republican National Committee on 19 November 2020.
Mr Giuliani seemingly had black hair dye running down the side of his face as he made increasingly ludicrous claims of election fraud.
“This sounds SO F****** CRAZY btw,” Mr Shah wrote during the diatribe, a few weeks after the 2020 election.
“He objectively looks like he was a dead person voting 2 weeks ago,” Mr Shah said. One of the false claims made about the election was that dead voters had helped President Joe Biden win.
But when a Fox reporter soon after went on air and said some of what Mr Giuliani had said was “simply not true,” Mr Shah said, “this is the kinda s*** that will kill us”.
“We cover it wall to wall and then we burn that down with all the skepticism,” he added.
After Carlson had publically rebuked some of the outlandish claims pushed by lawyer Sydney Powell, which prompted pushback from her and other rightwing figures, Mr Shah texted a producer for Mr Carlson about finding a middle ground and possibly taking time on the show to address her baseless claim that she had an affidavit linking Dominion and Venezuela.
“Might wanna address this, but this stuff is so f****** insane. Vote rigging to the tune of millions? C’mon,” he wrote.
Alex Pfeiffer, a producer working for Mr Carlson at the time but who has now left Fox, wrote back that “it is so insane but our viewers believe it so addressing again how her stupid Venezuela affidavit isn’t proof might insult them”.
Mr Shah suggested that Carlson mention the affidavit, saying it was “not new info, not proof” and then “pivot to being deferential”.
Mr Pfeiffer later added: “One funny thing. Dominion was used in Ohio and Florida. Trump won them. Did they forget to rig those or all part of the plan?”
Mr Shah later asked Mr Pfeiffer if he had seen that Newsmax host Greg Kelly “came after you?”
“Yeah,” Mr Pfeiffer said. “This whole thing is surreal. Like negotiating with terrorists, but especially dumb ones. Cousin f****** types not saudi royalty.”
Three days before the Capitol riot, Mr Shah texted fellow ex-White House spokesman Josh Raffel.
Mr Raffel noted to Mr Shah that the White House public schedule was vague, simply saying that Mr Trump would be making “many calls and have many meetings” and “work from early in the morning until late in the evening”.
“I think what they meant is The President will wake up early and commit many, many crimes including but not limited to obstruction of justice, attempted fraud, and treason in an effort to conduct a coup. Then he’ll fly to a rally in furtherance of the same,” Mr Raffel wrote.
“It’s really disheartening,” Mr Shah said. “The only clear cut evidence for voter fraud is the failed attempts from Trump.”https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/tucker-carlson-fox-news-dominion-lawsuit-b2299830.html

While that's true, MSNBC's crowd isn't that bright either, they ate up Maddow's Russia hoax hook, line and sinker. I, for one, avoid watching either of the extremes, both are made up of the same type of mouthbreather, only that they are on the opposite sides of the political spectrum.
