Led his team to a 28-16 record over the last 44 games of the season. That's a 52-win-pace. He did it as a high-volume low-post scorer. One of the more skilled pivot players of the 21st century. Was around a 1.0 PPP on post-ups. He had a tendency to avoid contact so his free-throw rate was low.

- 25.2 ppg, 11.4 rpg, 2.3 apg, 1.0 spg, 1.0 bpg, 2.1 topg
- 53.8% FG, 70.3% FT, 56.13% TS
- +2.1
- 28-16 record

Al was getting it done in the post even as late as 2017-2018:

- 2.7 post-up possessions per game
- 1.09 PPP (points per possession)
- 40.8% of total offense
- 54.7% FG
- 11.2 FT frequency

The black hole. Kevin McHale's protege. He was no McHale outside the black hole aspect. Those were a couple of painful years watching Big Al in Utah

people think if a player doesn't impact the NBA he is not worthy of a mention.

Take the last guy on the bench.
He practices 8 hours a day ... all kinds of shots, as well as defense.
they all would kick our ass's , rub our faces in the mud, and stomp on or heads.

They are all that good, because they are not only pro's - THEY ARE ON TEAMS that franchises paid them.
