You may not know the name but it’s possible you’ve seen clips or heard him referenced. Great bowler from the somewhat recent past who was a bit of an asshole and got famous for(after a big strike to win) asking a terribly formatted but still totally clear in meaning question…..

“Who do you think you are? I am!”

I feel like I don’t need to explain his meaning.

My question for you is who should don the Pete Webber shirt for something they did in the nba?

Jordan for the 92 finals vs Drexler?

Hakeem after he watched Drob get MVP in front of him?

Im sure someone will wanna include 2016.

Lots of options.

If it were up to you who would be bestowed with the Pete Weber shirt of letting a bitch know where he stands and who you are?

Maybe from when he played Lenny Cooke in high school. He doesn’t tend to just destroy his nba rivals and people compared to him. Granted he doesn’t play them often in situations to do it. Not like he got an early career Melo playoff matchup when they were still being compared. And he didn’t really destroy KD in 2012. Pierce was never really compared much and even if he was by the time the Heat beat them it wasn’t still going on.

The 2016 block and stare down of Curry had that vibe but it was a moment not really a performance.

Not positive where he fits into this one.

Weber was one of the best bowlers of all time .. in his era there were other explosive bowlers.

He absolutely destroyed Curry in the 2016 finals, that isn't debatable.

Yeah, lol @ moment and not a performance. Destroyed curry in every facet of the game and completely derailed his hype train. Curry was the umvp that year and people were ready to crown him.

It's the most obvious example of a Pete Weber moment in NBA history.

Underrated fact about the 2016 finals is that Steph actually incinerated Cleveland whenever LeBron was off-court, down to game 7.

Per 36 minutes, so extrapolating to around a full game's worth of play, Curry averaged 44.6 points on 61.5/60.0/100 splits. He did not record a single turnover in these minutes.

However he was brutal with LeBron on-court, averaging 21.1 pts/36 on 37.8/37.1/91.7 splits.
