I think Joel's plus minus for the Raptors series in 2019 is is the highest of all time, I could be mistaken but I'm confident onthis without looking it up.

This just confirms that the Sixers priority should be getting a legitimate playoff appropriate back up center, because it all comes undone when Joel is not on court. This is not a new or unknown problem.

But he missed the first two games of the series and then came back to play with a broken face and sight out of only one eye. Deandre Jordan started game one, and once again Sixers where blown off the court because Joel did not play and his washed up backup couldn't play anymore.

Remember despite the popular narratives Joel has only ever lost once in the playoffs to a lower seeded team.

I'm too lazy to look it up, but I find it hard to believe a guy having literally the worst series of his career, putting up (for superstar standards) a mediocre 18/9 on 53%TS would have the highest +/- in a series all time. And if he did, it's clearly a fluky result.

While he had his shining moments it was obviously not the greatest series of his career but it is not a fluke, it indicates how much the team depended on him and how poor is backups have been. A major problem for his teams that continue today.

I can't find an accurate comprehensive list of the highest series right now but I doubt there would be many more that high or atleast with that differential of his replacmets.
