Nearly entire population of California expected 'to see' snow

In a rare weather event, low-elevation snow is expected across California as a storm system ushers in exceptionally cold air into the state Tuesday through Saturday.

Is the world coming to an end or what? It will literally be snowing on palm trees :biggums:

This is good. Now they can’t complain about global warming

I'll believe it when I see it. Lived in California all my life and it has never snowed. Only snow I see around here is during the winter on this mountain right by my house, but even then it's only on there for like a week or two.

It's snowing at my house right now. First time I've seen snow here in my life

I'm not even that far from 210

Didn't snow at my house or anything, but the mountain near me had snow from top to bottom when I saw it yesterday morning, even some hills had snow, which I have never seen before.

Just got into town yesterday but I was like 30 mins east of Globe all week and it snowed there. Heavy rain followed by snow. Was actually pretty cool driving through fog in the mountains.

I’ll upload a video later.

people do not understand global warming.

There is a loop that swoops down from the north pole and hits smack dap in the middle of the US.
Wisconsin ... has gotten more snow over the last 3-5 years compared to last 40 years.
If we don't get the cold and snow ... we have weather comparable to like Ohio ... ice and rain.
So it doesn't surprise me CA is getting snow , and the next 48 hours could be in the 70's.

A bit weird considering it will be springtime soon already.

It actually snowed more this morning at my home today than it did on Saturday. All my life in California, we've never had snow in the city and now we've had it twice in the same week. Just nuts
