What if?

Dwight Howard meets Tim Duncan. A perennial rebounding champ and defensive player of the year. A 20-25 ppg, 12-15 rpg, 2.5-3 bpg, 55% FG+, 70%+ FT guy in his prime. A taller yet less explosive Dwight, but with some of Tim's finesse and touch.

At least he got some of the money. But it must suck to have had all that potential and not be able to show it.

Greg Oden probably has the most heart-breaking career of any player ever. There are guys who don't live up to their early potential because they just werent good enough or because of their own fault like Jay Williams. But Oden did nothing wrong, he was just shit out of luck. The fact he never even got to enjoy one single great season at full potential must be impossible for him to get over. That and being the poster boy for a career ruined by a failing body. To realise the dream of millions of people and to have it taken away in that fashion is the stuff of nightmares.

Oden has a net worth of $14 million so it's hard to feel that bad. He's not a HOF basketball player which he probably would have been and it tears at him inside but at least he made a lot of money from the sport so he can look after his family. :confusedshrug:

big guys fall easily ... his injuries were never projected , and I swear Portland should not have a team ... I think witch's fixed all the players.
