View Full Version : The Warriors are scared of greatness and compromised - Dub Nation is officially dead

Curry and the Warriors are afraid of greatness because WHO ARE THEY to win 5 chips and have a dynasty that rivals the Bulls, Lakers or 60's Celtics? WHO ARE THEY to have the greatest brand of ball and dynasty ever?
WHO ARE THEY to disappoint everyone by winning 5 chips and showing that the defending champs should've been covered all year by the media (instead of covering the Lakers and clamoring for trades to stack their team and justify a fake goat debate).
And there's a spy in the ranks - an informer.. A Judas
Draymond is in business with Lebron and also works for Colin Cowherd.. They all work together along with other confirmed shills (Wright, Sharpe, Redick & more) to manufacture a fake goat debate - 5 rings would expose the fake debate, which Draymond & company cannot allow - Draymond doesn't want 5 rings.. This would be amazing if this kind of fraud wasn't standard in today's society.
The worst part is that the dubs infact DO have a goat brand of ball - they changed the game

They are similar to the Bulls rings in the sense that they're incredibly weak and nobody thinks they're actually legit.
No hype after they won last year, zero talk about legacy or dynasty.
Warriors rings aren't even mickey mouse level - they're just irrelevant. Like Jordan's.

You're partly correct - the Warriors beat the worst comp ever - a Lebron Finals team
His record of 22-33 is the worst Finals record in the modern era - it's a lottery record on the championship level - the "clippers" of the Finals
So the Warriors beat Lebron's bad teams from a bad conference (no-chemistry teams), while Jordan beat 10-year organic juggernauts from the 90's West..
People forget that the 15' Warriors barely beat the injured Cavs', while the 98' Jazz swept Shaq's 4 all-stars & Duncan/Pop - so MJ would have an easier carry-job against the 1st-timer Warriors than the 10-year organic juggernauts from the 90's West.. Parity (evenly-spread talent) is tougher path than being 1 of 2 stacked teams in a top-heavy league

Quite amusing that nobody can oppose the truth of OP's statements using real logic, they can only really on ad hominem.

Posting a laugh emoji doesn't refute anything - it confirms that you have no response except obvious and embarrassing deflection
The media has been covering a team that can't make the play-in, while ignoring the defending champs in the spirit of a fake goat debate..
you're a victim of this fraud and don't realize it. you perceive the NBA incorrectly, which is why you cannot predict anything like I do on a perpetual basis.. You post dumb laugh emoji's as a deflection, while I scratch my beard in wisdom of what's actually going on.

It's impossible to refute something so baseless and objective. Good on you for creating an "argument" that can't be rebutted I guess.

It's historical record
the media covered a team that can't make the play-in instead of covering the defending champs
that's a fact
they also clamored for trades all year to improve the underachieving Lakers
that's a fact
draymond, colin, lebron, sharpe, redick and wright are all in cahoots via business or media
that's a fact
the media also created a debate based on a manufactured resume (the decision to put the top 3 first options in the East on 1 team to manufacture a Finals streak) - that's a fact
the warriors seem content and lack fire in defending their title - that's a fact - they don't seem to care 2 bird shits about winning another title (that's subjective but probably a common opinion among fans)
the only debate is whether you're a victim that fell for the fraud

I'm sorry...what does any of this have to do with Curry and the Warriors being afraid of greatness?
You're making an astronomical leap, as only you can do.

Seriously W T F. A team that won 4 rings is afraid of greatness? That is too dumb for words.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be?"

It isn't a leap - it's logical but you're in denial and want to believe what was fed to you.
In addition to fear of greatness, it's clear that conflict of interest has taken the Warriors down this year.. Dray said that his media career of propping up lebron is more important than his hoops career, (so he doesn't want 5 rings) ..
Curry could fight against this and rally the team, but the absence of him doing this confirms that there's something holding him back.. I think it's a combination of fear (see quote above) and not upsetting the applecart (not upsetting the mainstream media narratives and cumbaya human element that makes everyone comfortable)

I think I've shown that it's human nature to fear greatness and also that the Warriors are conflicted by moles within the ranks
Draymond stated that his new media career is more important than winning titles and he's been working with the media to create narratives that Lebron is GOAT - so these narratives are more important than the Warriors, which means he doesn't want 5 rings.. these are HIS words - he literally said that his new media stuff (propping up Lebron) is more important than his hoops career.
And he knocked out Poole out in the preseason, which confirmed that he no longer cares for this team and cares more about his media empire - he SAID this... His action was a blatant disregard for the team and confirmed his statements that his hoops career is secondary.. It's clear that propping up Lebron helps his media empire and that's more valuable to him then winning

So it turns outs that Draymond IS/WAS in fact important to the Warriors success?

4 titles, a play away from 5 and an injury away from 6. The franchise fears greatness though.
That's...interesting.

Anyone can take down a team - it doesn't have to be a guy that even gets minutes.
The fact that a major minute-getter has a conflict of interests makes it that much more devastating
Curry could rally the team but he seems quite comfortable to me. He seems to lack hunger and is worried about off-court things as well.. He's bought into the media group-think to an extent and doesn't want to upset the applecart, which is what a Warriors run would do at this point

There's levels to it
5 chips would be goat-level.. That would put Curry in the GOAT Convo
Right now he's comfortable being a tier below GOAT-caliber... It's harder to breathe at GOAT level. The air is thinner

Context. Duncan has 5 and damn near matched's MJ's 6-0 record if not for Ray Allen, and nobody puts him in the GOAT conversation.
Also, I hate myself for giving you the time of day.

Aren’t you the same guy that thinks if KD wins 2 more rings/FMVP with the Suns, he’ll be top 5 all time? Then you go and say this?
