Teams averaged 96 points in 2001 when 38 year old (same as lebron )MJ averaged 23ppg

Teams average 115 now .you think MJ’s 23 doesnt go upto 27-28 today? (He was technically averaging 25ppg before the all star break before his leg gave out)

70 today is like 50-55 2009 and below…

What Lebron is doing has already been done by MJ on 1 leg in a league way harder to score…

guys have proven you can average whatever you want today whenever you feel like it because of no handchecking, no emphasis on defenses(like how was it was in the 80s-90s)

We never get a good game were guys are d’ ing up until the final minutes now, we used to get that for full games..

His scoring would go down due to his atrocious 3 point shooting and lack of playmaking

No team would let him chuck midrange shots on horrible efficiency like he was doing in 01. Guys who lead in scoring today are playmakers and/or 3pt monsters. Not old washed up midrange chucker.

He's a 10-13 ppg guy at best in today's era. No way around it. He doesn't get shots on any team in today's NBA. Nice try though.

His last 20 games of the 2001 season before getting injured (he started out really bad and got better as the season went on)

27ppg 46%

He was only getting better ,would of been averaging 30 by seasons end if not injured

He's the only player ever to deal with injuries. nice excuse. 22ppg on atrocious efficiency.

He's a 10ppg guy at best in today's game. You know how much more movement today's game has? Honestly 10ppg is me being extremely generous. He wouldn't be able to play significant minutes in today's game. Not only would he be a worthless dinosaur stylistically, but if you're talking about injuries in a game where everyone stood still, he wouldn't even survive 10 games in this era.

Stick to celebrating mickey mouse rings in the 90s. You're out of your depth here baldan fan
