We all buy into what he does as a coach in the regular season, then he gets exposed in the playoffs.

But I'll always have love for Thibs. :rockon:

Thibs is past his prime. And he's playing Brunson and Randle too many minutes and these guys will be exhausted come post-season. His persistence on shortened rotations is frustrating.

He's doing a great job this season. It's not like the Knicks have the talent/depth to play their two core guys less than 34-35 mpg if they want to maximize their chances of winning. I'm more impressed with how he's turned this defense around despite not having that many guys who could defend at a high level, the team defense is pretty damn solid given the group that he's working with. Thibs' teams usually struggle or are mediocre on O as well but right now they're 6th in ORTG despite not shooting that well from 3 and despite them playing at a slow pace.

thibs does deserve a lot but brunson's easily the best free agent signing they've made this century.
