Can Thibs create another Chicago Bulls scenario? They don't have anyone of Derrick Rose's ('11 and '12) caliber, but they've got some nice pieces. Randle and Brunson is a nice duo.
What are they missing? Could they ascend like Chicago did in 2011?

Missing a true first option. Both Randle and Brunson are really good but they can't be the best players on title teams.

Spooky hours!
[NYKnicks PR] Knicks close out February with a record of 9-2. This is the team’s best winning percentage for the month since the 1989-90 season (9-2) and tied for the second best record in franchise history for February, trailing only the 1982-83 season when they went 10-2.

Nice 1st round team is all. Don't have a true all around player to carry them when things get tough.
Yet they have the Celtics number this season. :facepalm

Let's see :http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?510282-lets-give-some-lov-to-Coach-Tom-Thibodeau
If they become successful enough, chewing might find himself having fun bouncing too much while rocking his size 3xl knicks jersey. :ohwell:

Toppin should be getting Grimes' minutes. He has looked awesome when given real minutes.
Do that and now we're talking

They have a good core in Brunson, Randle and Robinson.
It's now a matter of if RJ Barrett can take the leap. This guy sucks so far. If he becomes as good as Brunson, they don't need a superstar to contend.

Need that 1st option alpha. I like this team and now that RJ is capable of being benched for someone doing better, I'm happier. Hart is a really good role player, 3 and D. Just gotta get thibs obsession with playing a center at all times out the window.

Trade rj for someone good, ideally your lead star but could be someone else too,

RJ Barret is holding the team back. Needs to come off the bench and be a 6th man and focus on other things besides scoring. Never seen him perform well in a single game and I actually liked his fearlessness coming out of college. But now it's become a hindrance.

Coach T gets the best out of nothing ... their ceiling has been reached.
It is up to management to get players in there to go forward.
