Yeah, they've been playing crazy good. A Bucks/Celtics matchup in the playoffs should be a barn burner.

Middleton has played 400 minutes in 60 games. It’s Giannis, Jrue, and 10 role players two of them being high end role players. A team playing well together doesn’t make it stacked. Just makes a good team.

theyre not 17' warriors stacked, but coach bud is really good system coach, bucks have very capable role players ranging from good to elite/borderline stars. that team without gianna can be a high 40s maybe even a 50 win team. insert a top 5 superstar and they're VERY good. obviously this team is built around giannis but he's not carrying a shit team. still think kawhi led raps beat any version of this team every day and twice on sunday. wonder why a fundamentally sound star like kawhi beat him...almost like his gimmicky shoulder-drop offensive foul isn't all that reliable.

He won a title younger than Jordan, Lebron, Shaq, KD, Dirk and a great many others. And he did so by dropping 50 and making iconic plays on both ends. He then followed up winning the title doing 32/14/7 in the next playoffs. Seems…fairly reliable.
What happened is we have entered the time where no legitimate reason for hate remains because he’s done the only things anyone can do(mvp, champ, finals mvp in overwhelming fashion, DPOY and so on). But haters don’t hate for rational reasons. It’s emotional. And they tie their hate to failures because the easiest way to look smart in sports is to predict failure because all but one team has to fail. So everyone’s career in all American sports Russell aside is mostly failure.
gives plenty of room for people who don’t really know any more than anybody else to suggest the loss is for the reasons they say and therefore their criticisms have merit. In truth, if the top 10 players all play lights out every game for the rest of their lives 29 teams would still lose.
“Fundamental” players, athletic ones, and whatever else. Jokic is going to mostly lose. Giannis is going to mostly lose. Leonard has mostly lost. Jordan mostly lost. LeBron has mostly lost. Bird mostly lost. The only true separation is between people who mostly lost and only lost. And quite a few people have only lost outside situations they manipulate the league to make eventually winning all but assured. He’s definitely not that.
But whatever the method you either prove you can lead a team to the only true victory or you don’t. He’s already proven it, and his haters have proven once again what I always say about haters. It doesn’t actually matter what the target does. They only pretend it matters, because it makes the argument easier. Once they’re proven wrong, they go right along with the same criticisms after manufacturing excuses to show why they aren’t wrong, but the universe somehow conspired against them.
The same refs, injuries, luck, and stupid decision making by other teams that is the reason everyone ever won is the reason they appear wrong not any lack of knowledge or understanding because of course everyone is “high IQ”.
in the end, nothing you’re talking about matters to history and he’s already one of the greatest players to ever play and it looks like he’s going to contend for quite a while longer even if he never acts like a hoe and forms a super team or three, like some people have.
Your team has one now. And maybe they win. I wouldn’t be upset about it. I’d like a few players on the suns to get a ring. But whatever they do it damn sure won’t be because of fundamentals. It would be because they stacked talent to give themselves more breathing room for individuals to not step up on the biggest stages.
That’s one way to go and definitely the most likely to succeed, but every player on that team loses the ability to show what Giannis has already shown. Like I said though…many ways to get there. And the fans are gonna cheer no matter what. And in the end nobody is gonna care much how you did it. Luck. Health. Being a ho. Timing. Whatever. Always outside factors.
I hope you get to enjoy that. Perhaps you’ll gain some perspective.

they have molded into a pretty solid team.
Early in the year they had some pretty significant injuries .. and now everyone is coming back.
When they lost 5 straight against opposing playoff teams .. quite frankly I thought they were going to be a 2nd round exit.
low and behold , I figured out what they were doing... Coach Bud was looking for combinations that worked and what players could do.
2/5's into the season doing that shlt tells me he knew he had a pretty good roster.
Engles is now spotting up.. and look at who shows up JAE -Crawford.
Last night I swear he told his players , no outside shoots , shoot everything in the paint....
After the game .. he even stated that the team adjusted themselves in the 3rd qtr... no coach interference .... lol

did you watch the series...where he would bump ayton and no call would be against him, or he might even get 2 free throws for initiating an offensive foul? but when ayton would try to get physicial it would be an automatic foul...no? ok. nothing about that series screams amazing to me.
it's not basketball, it's not even rule manipulation...it's just refs being dumbasses allowing the game to be played differently for one player only.

I’m so glad I grew out of that sports fan delusion. I stopped that shit as a kid. Some never do unfortunately. Always have to find a reason other than your team getting its ass kicked.

I recently read an article about Giannis injury that forced him to miss the end of the ECF. His injury was worse than we were led to believe. It was very risky for him to play in the Finals.
In a recent interview, Antetokounmpo finally opened up about how dangerous playing on his hyperextended knee really was, and his comments will only make you respect him more.
“There’s nothing to cut that was in there. It was torn already. It was out — (the piece that) protected me from an MCL or ACL (tear). There’s a thing (in your leg) that protects you when you hyperextend (your knee) that doesn’t let you go all the way back. So that thing was torn. So if I had gone all the way back again, that’d be it for me.”
The Bucks tried to push Antetokounmpo to wear a knee brace during the Finals, but he refused.
“Hell. No. I’m not wearing that s***,” he recalls saying.

Yea a lot of people thought he was done done. Funny how people mention other teams injuries like he wasn’t ****ed up. Even funnier the same people who talk about other teams injuries ignore that Trae got hurt in game 3 then made 4 shots the rest of the series missing games and hobbling when they wanna point out the Bucks beat the Hawks without Giannis.

I get not liking players, but it's crazy to me how fans can be dismissive of legitimately ATG performances.
