Kevin Durant
Russell Westbrook
Stephen Curry
James Harden
Paul George
Klay Thompson
Damian Lillard
Anthony Davis
Joel Embiid
Giannis Antetekoumpou
Nikola Jokic
Luka Doncic

Will get in eventually
Derrick Rose
Kevin Love
Paul George
Kyrie Irving
Draymond Green

Borderline
Kyle Lowry
Jimmy Butler
DeMar DeRozan

Why would Doncic be a hall of famer if he retired today? He's accomplished exactly nothing other than being an all star.

Why not? Luka has a Euroleague MVP and championship as well, it's named the basketball hall of fame, not NBA hall of fame.

Petrovic only played a couple of seasons in the NBA and is in the HOF.

Arvydas Sabonis is in the HOF as well.

The case would be he’s in a lot of very rare company in various statistics, and has a shit ton of big playoff games and clutch moments relative to career length. Altho I agree if he retired TODAY, it would be questionable putting him in.

And Im not saying this cuz Lebron but I dont personally see Love, Irving, or AD’s case, they literally have no career success without riding LeCoattails. They dont have all-time level career statistics. No MVP’s. Unlike Lillard they dont have a long history of bearing the load of an average team and carrying it admirably into the playoffs consistently. They get put in the HOF just cuz they played with Bron? Their careers are nothing without the championships HE won them. They dont belong.

Chris Paul✓
Kawhi Leonard✓
Kevin Durant✓
Russell Westbrook✓
Stephen Curry✓

Paul George maybe not 1st ballot

I'd like to say maybe not 1st ballot but he has too many shooting and scoring records, so I guess I can see him getting right in
Damian Lillard maybe not 1st ballot
Anthony Davis barely
Joel Embiid barely
Giannis Antetekoumpou✓
Nikola Jokic✓
Luka Doncic maybe not 1st ballot today

Why would Bradley Beal eventually make the Hall? He's dine nothing IMO.
Same with Jordan.
I forgot about Blake, he's borderline.
Mitchell has stood out enough yet. A few more seasons.

You do know, you don't have to win a ring to be a Hall of Famer. Alex English is in. Bob Lanier is in.

Why is Paul George a (that's it) and Kyrie a (yes?)

If the Celtics win a title this year, would Horford move to borderline or nah?

Of course he is. How many MVP's/9x All-NBA players have ever not been first ballot?

Probably none. But there's a first for everything. You can play yourself out of this sh*t, and Westbrook has.

He's still going in, just not immediately.

Just because you don't care for his play doesn't mean he's not 1st ballot. He will get every single vote eligible when his time comes.

I believe every 30PPG player has made the Hall. Also being loyal to a bad team tends to look good to voters

Same with Jordan.

He was All-NBA 3 times which I think puts him on short lists and discussion I think it's 50/50 with the borderline guys

Rose was HOF level for 1.5 seasons so yeah I don’t personally think he has any case. The NBA HOF might let him get in though.

MVP should automatically get you into the Hall. Means you were the best player for that one season.

There are females, refs and owners in BBHOF, might as well let anyone with over 10ppg averager OR a ring OR was popular overseas OR had x number of jersey sales.
Heck let the all-time high ISH poster in.

Winning MVP doesn't necessarily make you the best player in the league. LeBron, Kobe, and Dwight were all better in 2011. Rose absolutely had HOF potential, but only 3 all-star seasons should not get you in the hall.

It may not mean you're the best, but you're the most valuable.
He's one of only 36 players to win the award. He will not get skipped over.

He will definitely get considered, but he hasn't done enough to get in the HOF. 1 MVP, 3 all-star appearances, and 1 all-nba is not enough

Just being real, Rose was absolutely not better than LeBron/Dirk/Wade/Dwight that season, he was at best 5th that year.

Obviously without the MVP, he doesn't get looked at. MVP changes the entire landscape. As I mentioned earlier, only 36 players have been voted MVP in the leagues 77 year history.
