Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, a Democrat, lost her re-election bid Monday night, and critics are celebrating the end of her term.

Under Lightfoot, Chicago has seen soaring crime rates, which became a theme of her opponents' criticism. In 2021, homicides in Chicago rose to their highest numbers in 25 years, outpacing other crime-ridden cities like New York City and Los Angeles.

Throughout her tenure, the mayor has been blasted for her poor relationship with law enforcement, as the city's police department lost a significant number of officers in recent years amid the rise in crime.

Finally!

I remember how she encouraged the BLM riots. Then they ransacked Chicago's Magnificent Mile and she had to turn her back on them.

Kids, Rule #1 in the Rioting and Looting Manifesto is that you dont touch rich people's stuff. Keep the rioting and looting in poor/working class and inner city neighborhoods, where its encouraged. I'm just trying to help.

I would love for someone to do a documentary on her. As she's leaving her office and walking over dead bodies in her city, she still has the balls to say she lost the race due to racism. Like who are the people in her inner circle that support her? That tell her, "Yeah, keep going with what you're doing. The people will come around eventually."

You wouldn't think things could get any worse in Chicago.

Carjackings double what they were last year at this point
Robbery up
Thefts up
Sexual Assault up
Murders the same
