Have no idea what takes place on TikTok and why so many young people are addicted to it.

I do occasionally. Lots of shitty videos on there but then you find that one video every 10-20 swipes that makes you laugh or grabs your attention. That’s what makes it addicting

its nonstop entertainment and shortens attention spans immensely. its aso addicting in its set-up. its nonstop short vid after short vid. just clogs your mind with useless bullshit.

This right here is very true. I have a harder time watching longer videos than I did before I discovered TikTok

Never used TikTok, but since Youtube introduced "youtube shorts", I can see how people get addicted to these vids. I spent an hour straight just watching short vids, then realized "wtf am I doing?"

That shit ruins your attention span.

I thought the same too, why? Then youtube sent me a bunch of short vids (similar to tiktok) that they knew I would be into based off prior videos I've seen.
