How long since you attended an nba game?

I’m leaving for the Miami area tonight and I kinda want to go to a game but that arena is such a ****ing hassle unless you get a hotel across the street. And I’m not picking a hotel just for a game. It doesn’t even have parking.

Ive been in a lot of nba cities lately and it seems few are well positioned and convenient.

They are all magnificent facilities that are too much trouble to attend and leave.

I might never see one live again at the rate I’m going. You still go? Or did you ever?

I was at the recent Dec 22nd game of Lakers vs Suns in Phoenix. It was wack because LeBron was out. So were AD, Booker, and Westbrook. I bought my ticket weeks prior

I actually went to a ton of them the season before covid hit. The last game I've been to was Nets-Sixers Game 3 way back in the 2019 playoffs :lol

Last one was vs G State game 6. My brother in law insisted on watching them celebrate on the Celtics floor. Minorly traumatic.

Last game I attended was when the Hawks faced the Bucks and Trae Young sat. Hawks still won that game. Was in 2021 I believe when the Bucks won the championship

it has been years for me.... I am about 4 1/2 hours away from Milwaukee ... so it is all most impossible.

Many folks in my area who are Packer fans find it easier o travel to the twin cities to watch the Packers play the vikings.

Its an idea to watch the timberwolves and Bucks... but I do not care to drive 3 1/2 hours to see the wolves.

Went to a Nets vs OKC game maybe 4-5 years back. It was mad fun, I think Nets had a 20+ pt lead in the 3rd and then PG went nuts and even hit the game winner. It was fun as hell, it was before Russ was washed so of course he had some ridiculous triple double.

Before that was Melo Knicks vs Celts... Melo went on to shoot something like 4-24 and Knicks got rekt :lol even though they were an above .500 team... but that's just how it went with Melo. If he didn't shoot well he didn't offer anything else.

Went to the Celtics Mavs game the day before thanksgiving.

Before that, it was game 4 of the Finals.

It's been a few years. The Spurs were in town to play the Mavericks, and I had family visiting who wanted to see the game. I was kind of bummed that Dirk was in street clothes, but I did get to see Tim Duncan and the boys. Getting to the game and back home was easy. There's a satellite parking lot for public transit about two miles from my house. Park there for free, hop a light rail train, and about 30 minutes later the train let us off in front of the arena. Reverse the process going home.

A week and a half ago. Bucks @ Bulls. Almost went to the Suns - Bulls game last night. Sat behind Memphis bench in Memphis last year for $100 off the Gametime app. Met Bane, Ja, and Eric Bledsoe afterwards at the bar between both locker rooms while the Blazers were in town.
