Never understood the “he is not playing because of defense” reason for guards in todays league. You can’t count on one hand the number of guards whose defense stands out today. If he just refuses to play help defense, then it’s understandable but the league is about scoring and he is a scorer on a mediocre team. They should trade Josh Harris to a contender for picks and play all these young dudes and see what you have. Not playing someone in favor of Nerlens Noel should be a fireable offense.

He played 18 minutes in his only game for BK. Scored 2 points, grabbed 3 boards and had 5 fouls. Nice.

It's gotten tough but stops in the perimeter do rarely happen and sometimes a guy gets a steal or draws a charge. I am not saying Vaughn is right just pointing that out. Strong defensive effort still matters.

Yea it's probably more about effort than actual ability. If a guy refuses to play defense then that's a huge problem not only on the court but for a coach trying to imprint certain things on a team.
