And their opponents in the NBA Finals. The 2012-13 Heat beat better teams in the NBA Finals than the 2nd 3 peat Bulls.
The Heatles were a superior version of the 1991-93 Chicago Bulls.

Considering the 2012 past-prime Celtics nearly beat the 2012 Heat, not an inconceivable idea.

Nah, they struggled with young PG13 and Roy Hibbert Pacers. Got molly whopped by old as hell Spurs team. Either Bulls team would beat them. Early 90s or Late 90s. Those Bulls teams were easily equipped to destroy 2015 - 2019 Warriors too. Especially playing actual basketball sport rules and not the freedom of movement entertainment rules now.

The 2013 Heat when they were all healthy were a fun team to watch. For sure the best team LeBron has ever played on.

AD > Wade, but that 2013 heat team was constructed extremely well.
Wade
Bosh
R. Allen, Chalmers, Battier all shot 40% from 3pt.
Chris Andersen (Birdman) actually brought some nice interior presence that year
Won 27 straight games at one point as well. Struggled in the playoffs a bit because Wade wasn't 100%.

Nah
And if you're going to speak down on MJ's competition you should mention that the '13 Heat made the Finals without facing a single 50-win team, and all 3 teams were bottom 10 in offense as well.

But 3ball told me '13 Pacers > 90's Knicks.

I don't think AD was better than Wade. But I do think that AD is a much better fit for LeBron than Wade was. Plus Wade in 2012 and 13 was always hurt in the playoffs.
Miami had nice pieces and was constructed really well too.

Obviously peak Wade > AD, but by 2013 I see no argument for Wade being better than 2020 AD.

they didnt just "struggle a bit". You cant shrug off them being in 7 game series against the Pacers and Spurs and a mirace from osing.
They won 27 games in a row, against how many good teams? league was dog shit.
Id take the 2020 lakers in a heartbeat.

2020 AD > 2013 Wade is a good take but worth noting that 2013 Lebron > 2020 Lebron by a lot.

They were down 3-2 with HCA. Jordan never lost nor was ever down 3-2 in a series with HCA. Lebron had lost 3 in a row with HCA.

One of the old mtv rock n jock basketball games. They did baseball too. Musicians played athletes in mixed teams. Kinda like the celebrity games today but active players and bigger celebs. Reggie miller was out there too. Will Smith was in a game one year. Leonardo DiCaprio. Fun little bit of nostalgia. Kemp actually put on a show of course….just funny seeing that play.

Old Tim Duncan vs when Utah beat peak Duncan/Robinson along with Hakeem Barkley and Drexler along with Shaq/Kobe/Van Exel and Jones. That would be like in 1992 the Celtics making it to the finals after not having made it in years.

13 is the better team imo, but Wade got hurt tho in by time the playoffs.
It would've been a fun series to see Bulls vs Heat, across eras and all. Luc Longley would probably have a field day tho. Maimi had better 3pt shooters, but they didn't utilize the 3 as much as teams do now. So, they aren't going to straight up shoot them out of the building. Depending on the rules, it would be fun. I think the Bulls were greater in terms of legacy obviously. They got it done better.

Given the problems the Heat had with an aging Spurs team that had a washed up Tim Duncan, I have serious doubts they could take the 96 or 97 Bulls.
Maaaaaaaybe 98, but only because the Bulls were running on fumes at that point being an already old team attempting a threepeat (look at how gassed the Warriors looked going for their threepeat) and Rodman was bordering on becoming completely out of control.
