Obviously Clips have way better depth than the Lakers which is the biggest reason why Bron is hurt and Kawhi looks fresh, but still it shows Kawhi is playing it "smart" this year. Bron and AD both can't be relied on so they need to go to teams where they can also be like Kawhi and coast/load manage the regular season.

In fact, Kawhi has been playing like a top 10 player for a while now and will cause major damage in the playoffs if healthy.

For people who don't understand, my point is Lebron and AD need to get "smart" and start load managing.

Of course if they don't want to, then they will have to get used to fighting for play-in spots the rest of their careers and not even sniffing a finals appearance.

If they can't do that on the Lakers (they definitely can't), then they need to go to teams that can help them load manage and still be able to be a championship contender.

Kawhi has had many legitimate injuries in his career even with load management. Kawhi is basically this era's Dwyane Wade in the sense that when healthy, he was as good as anyone, but his body couldn't hold up.

So Kawhi got smart and tried to load manage.

Lebron is averaging 49 games a season over the last three years. Anthony Davis averages 41 games a season over the last three years.
