Eastbay to close

Eastbay was a shoe store started in Wausau ,Wisc.
When i lived there ,, it was a hole in the wall store where I bought my first pair of Asic running shoes ...

They blossomed unbelievably to a multi - million dollar company , a true success story.

Running shoes, bball shoes, and of course wrestling boots were their initial forte.

Eastbay catalogue was pretty amazing back in the day before ordering online became a thing. Last time I ordered some Jordans from them though they came way late and was the wrong color scheme.

kids these days don't get the experience of shopping from a catalogue. it was an experience. not just eastbay, but other stores too. ya'll rmbr the TigerDirect catalogue?

I made a few east bay orders back in the day.

I got some of the dada supreme shoes, and a pair of g-unit shoes I could only find in Eastbay.

Had the subscription to the magazine and used to cut the pictures of shoes out and put them on my school binder.

Def good memories of flipping through that magazine
