Kevin Durant have 26,764 career points while Jordan scored 32,292 points in his nba career.

He will need to get 2000+ pts in the next 5-6 years (until he is 40). The last time he had a 2000pt season was in 2019. I doubt that he will.

It sucks he is injury prone in his last seasons in the NBA. He is still one of the best scorers in the league, but very unfortunate with his injury.

The league scoring-wise is set up for him to drop 27-8ppg until his late 30's, but he also doesn't strike me as someone who will overstay his welcome, especially since he's not a threat for the all-time scoring mark even if Lebron stopped playing today. He has 3 more years left on his deal after this season so he's going to have to produce 2000+ a year. Possible obviously but you'd be lucky to get 60 games a year out of him at this point.

He's more all-around as a scorer from anywhere in the court than jordan is.

MJ is better at exploding to the basket and finishing at the rim/taking contact. Like the Celtics really made life tough for KD because they closed on his mid/long range jumper and he couldn't really do much after that.

With Jordan he would adjust there and go attack the rim, especially if we're talking like 1st 3 peat Jordan.

Sure but that doesn't explain jordan being inferior beyond the arc. Even with the help of the shortened wnba three-point line.

MJ being inferior in 3 pt shooting doesn't mean anything. You can argue that KD is a better ranged scorer but he wasn't a better scorer overall compared to MJ
