I agree! I don't watch hockey on TV, but I went to a Stars game last year and it was awesome. It's much easier to follow the game when you can see the whole rink and all the players. It helped that there were four people (2 couples) seated behind me who knew their hockey and had their cheers and jeers ready to roll. I think they said they were from Detroit? I bought each of them a beer at the end of the first period, and from then on we were best buds, and I could lean back and ask any stupid question I wanted and they'd explain. Usually in verbose, expletive ridden detail. The Stars did some goal scoring thing which won everybody in the arena a free taco, and they won on top of that, so we were all in a cheery mood.

Pro's ae so tough that imo it takes the pureness of the game away.

I love college hockey ... best to watch at home .. you see everything much more clearly IMO
