- If he's so sorry why cant you name anyone else in the nba who can replicate his impact (leads team in assist @ bigman, shot blocker, rebounder, steals, deflections) If he truly was so expendable, and "anyone can do what he does" they would of been got rid of his unstable ass.
- He's pretty much does so much stuff its like having an extra player on the court. Instead of having bogut's shotblocking and david lee playmaking as two different player....He does all of that as one player allowing you to use a kuminga or a poole as your 5th man.
- He covers up the weaknesses for every single player he plays with.

- He can literally guard 1-5...truly guard 1-5 and its not just a label ppl give him.

Draymond carried the Warriors to the lottery

Draymond aside the top 12 players in minutes on the 2020 Warriors were(in order) Eric Paschall, Glenn Robinson the third, Damian Lee, Alec Burks, Poole who started 14 games, Marquese Chriss, 33 games of Deangelo, KY Bowman, Willie Cauley Stein, Omari Spellman, and Jacob Evans. Only 1 of their top 3 in minutes is still in the nba. Top five all-time players had lineups better than that and didn’t make the playoffs so I don’t know what kind of reasonable person would expect Draymond Green to lead them anywhere. They had a whole season of Wiggins and Steph having his highest scoring season ever the next year and still didn’t make the playoffs(lost the play in).

I don’t think anybody thinks Draymond is the type who makes a bad team a contender. Especially not a team you can add 32 ppg Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins to and still not make the playoffs.

Its entirely possible the 2020 Warriors with peak Jordan in Draymonds place wouldn’t outright make the playoffs. Looking at the team it’s a ridiculous expectation to have for all but the most impactful players ever. People stay acting like Kobe had one of the worst teams they ever saw, and not one of those people I listed is better than Lamar Odom, and even the best of them was only there half the season.

Steph got injured Game 1 of the Playoffs in 2016 and GS was on pace to make the WCF (up 2 - 1 on Portland) without him. Dray in that stretch averaged 18/11/7 1.3 spg 1.9 bpg. I get that people hate Dray for his antics but he's always been underrated with how much does for GS. If Curry & Klay both weren't complete ass in Game 7 vs. Cavs Draymond would have a FMVP.

Also, when KD went down in 2019 Dray averaged 13/11/9 1.8 spg 1.5 bpg for the rest of the POs. People talk about Steph's WCF numbers in 2019 but Dray also averaged 17/12/9 2.3 spg 2.8 bpg in that series.

Yeah, Dray isn't a superstar, but if you're building a championship team he might be the best complimentary player in the modern era for any championship team.
