Not sure it's proof of a fix. Lakers are just really good at getting free throws.

For example, Lakers don't shoot more FT against teams who are also good at getting FT like the Knicks, Philly, Memphis, or Sacramento.

It does seem like there's a trend of favorable officiating. However, the Lakers being the biggest bunch of floppers in the league also contributes to it.

They're a solid defensive team. If refs were really rigging games in favor of the Lakers they wouldn't have lost 4-5 games due to bad calls lol.

Last season Houston led in FTA. Washington before that. Charlotte led in 2017. I guess the league was rigging it for those teams as well :facepalm

Also lakers are like 5th in number of drives per game so it’s hardly crazy they’d lead the league in FTA.
