Suns vs Clippers/Warriors/Lakers round 1 would be amazing

I said a month ago that Lakers would finish 6th and go on to win the West. I still think that, but the Suns with Durant also look good.

If the Lakers finish 6th or 7th it will be a Suns v Lakers WCF. If they finish 5th, the winner of the the Suns v Lakers Rd 1 will win the West.

I picked the Grizzlies. If they are healthy, they have the team cohesions and depth to do it.

However, if Lebron gets injured, the Lakers without LeDeadWeight are the best team and have a very real shot at it too.

Either the suns lakers or warriors this is my honest opinion. The west is a gauntlet, throw out the regular season and team records it’s gonna be about who ever finds chemistry and gels at the right time. No way does Denver make the finals.

Lakers are a stacked team. No excuses.

Lakers. Check AD's numbers the last 3 games...

Not to mention, they have LeBron, who is reaching 100% right on schedule. They also possess depth. If healthy, this Lakers team can defeat any opponent in a seven-game series.

Not just 3 games. AD post-ASB is averaging 28/13/3 on 59%FG/~65%TS and has only sat out 2 games for rest.

Wiggins is set to make his return to the Warriors. Game changer. He can be a body to throw at Durant, Lebron, Kawhi, etc.

Oh, I guarantee they're coming up with the ready-made excuses already.

You don't think that Bron and/or AD being out would be kind of a reason they wouldn't win?

As I'm sure you know...both have had issues staying healthy the last couple years.

In my mind, AD being out would cripple the Lakers chances. However, Lebron being out wouldn't have a negative impact on the team.

But for the Bronie fluffers on here who still insist that Bronie is a top 5 player, there should be no excuses. A top 5 player should be able to carry that stacked team to a title, even without AD playing.

Injuries will play a pivotal role for sure. None of Lebron, AD, Durant, Kawhi, Paul George, and Chris Paul are safe.

I would say LeBron but the fact he plays for the Lakers makes it a no from me.

The correct answer is Curry.

If CLIPPERS lose. This is how standings can look like

1 - Denver
2 - Memphis
3 - Kings
4 - SUNS
5 - Warriors
6 - Pelicans
7 - Clippers
8 - Lakers

That 7th seed easier path to WCF. Then 5th 6th or 8th.

And the most votes go to the Lakers.

Face it. Anything other than the finals for them is failure and underachievement.

Yeh, but in the previous poll, everyone voted Suns and Nuggets ( http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?509859-Who-is-winning-the-West ).
But now everyone Voting Lakers/Warriors.

If I do the poll the third time, I won't be surprised with another set of new results.

Wouldn't that make them the first team from a low seed(5-and under) to ever win a ring.

I've always ranked MJ over Lebron...but Lebron coming back from 3-1 and winning a ring as a low seed. He'd have a case over Jordan if he did that.

I don't care for the Lakers, Curry rubs me the wrong way, KD can't carry a team so I would say the Greek Freak
