It seems there's so many teams that are real contenders this season depending on health. Feels way higher than other seasons by a good margin.

Off the top of my head there's Bucks, Celtics, Suns, Lakers, Grizzlies, Cavs, Nuggets, Philly, Warriors, Clippers (If PG healthy in time). That's 10 teams. :wtf:

Warriors, Nuggets, Cavs, and Grizz aren't contenders. The Sixers are iffy as well. They have Harden playing for them in the PO's.

Lakers Grizzlies Cavs and Clippers definitely aren't winning the championship.

The only real contenders IMO are Celtics, Suns, Warriors (until proven otherwise), and MAYBE Lakers or Philly. TBH if Suns don't win this year it's just sad. They are easily the most stacked team

No they're not. Another narrative to try and diminish KD

Is it though? They are like...7-0 with him in the lineup

Yep. The Lakers and Clippers are a threat to knock out anyone, but there's no good argument to make for either team winning 4 consecutive rounds of the playoffs.

Because teams can't load up on Devin Booker now and try and turn 38 year old Chris Paul into a scorer. In fact if you take those KD wins away the Suns would have a worse record than the Timberwolves and be the 10th seed

The trolling is real....let's just pretend they didn't have 64 wins last season :lol

The only reasons they aren't up there this season is CP and Booker were injured for 20+ games each. Try harder plz

So now you want to pretend like the Suns didn't get embarrassed in the second round against the Mavs...? To put it in perspective, the Suns went as far that year as Pippen and Kyrie lead their teams to...a second round exit. Teams figured out how to beat them.

Everyone has been injured this season....

Try again

Bucks and Celtics in the East and Clippers/Suns/Warriors in the West. That's it.

And they made the Finals the year before

And they made the Finals the year before

A year where they surprised the league. Again the difference between that year and the year after were that Mavs figured them out and then the league did so this year as well until they finally got a weapon in KD to take pressure off of Booker

This is where that poster always wanted to end up. He doesn't care about the Suns. It serves his real agenda of trashing Giannis by proxy.

People want KD to be known as anything other than one of the greatest players ever so they try to paint narratives and diminish him saying he can't "carry" or he has to team hop when he's proven himself time and time again that there isn't a player alive better than him right now especially when he has real help

Steph has 2 rings without Durant. Durant has 0 rings without Steph.

Durant wanted his own team with the Nets and got it. One playoff series win in his entire Nets career

I don't like their depth but they have the best duo in the west on paper. I don't have a WC favorite but they made the Finals recently and although they lost a lot of the players they got there with they have Kevin Durant, who is always hard to bet against.

There is a lot of parity this year and playoffs will be more fun.

The Warriors and Nuggets are 100% contenders.

The Grizzlies and Cavs and Clippers are not. As long as PG stays out and even if he returns its questionable at what form.

Have the Suns even lost yet with KD?

The New-Look Lakers havent either.

bucks, celtics, suns, nuggets are likely the 4 true contenders. ik people dont trust denver but they're the one seed i'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Then maybe philly or a team out west but west is such a crapshoot there isnt an obvious choice. Any of those teams could upset a true contender in the west but winning 4 series in a row is unlikely.

Phx likely the most talented team in the league because they have the best star duo of the top teams and paul and ayton for a supporting cast but there's some debate.

Did you miss them being completely injured this year?

The irony of you talking about narratives.

This team was the #2 and #1 seed the last 2 years, a couple plays away from an NBA championship 2 years ago.

Idiot.
