I watched tiger around Augusta today .. and was unbelievably surprised at looking at his swing.
He drives the ball literally on one leg using his left leg.
His right leg all most does nothing.
(He will never win another major , and quite frankly will never win another tournament.
Hovland looks strong .. it would be great if he wins.

Seeing Tiger playing a major after all the shits happened to him especially after the car accident is a bless.
Also, the latest boogeyman of golf John Rahm is hanging around at the top. This guy should be a contender once again.

Yea, most likely pushing the final day to Monday.
Brooks Koepka with a great day today.

Seeing if Tiger will make the cut is weirdly intriguing. The cut is as of now at +2 and Tiger is hanging in there, no bogey yet.

Tiger bogeyed 7, but got the birdie back at 8.

A Brooks and Rahm showdown on Sunday would be epic.

A simple gif or an embedded YouTube video of the golf swing would have been nice. Instead I have to use my imagination. Heck, even just a typical Jasper YouTube video link would have been nice.

I have not seen Brooks play this well since the US open he won.
I prefer he not win it or any LIV player for that matter.
Would prefer Rahm, so he wins , and Scotty leaves the 1st place ranking. (god I hate that guy, and the media that follows him)
Look at the amateur , dam he is playing lights out at 23. :applause:

Patrick Cantlay surging this weekend.
Gonna be interesting to see if the guys that finished their third round strong are able to continue it a couple hours later.

Phil ends up with -8, holding the 2nd place while Koepka is nose-diving fast and falls to 3rd thru 12th. Rahm is still leading at -10 thru 12th.

Dude has already top-5 in all majors and he is only 28. Not prime Tiger but is very, very good.

Brook ... I could tell was tired. Beginning of round he is talking with Rahm , that usually means he's in top form.
5 holes later he is walking behind Rahm ... no talking.
In a major every shoot is critical.
Very unlike Brook to hit tee shots way left or right. (not pin point shooting)
Rahm if you noticed as many players were standing over a 2 foot put like it was to win a chip.
That Sam Bennett is going to be good. Viktor Hovell will win a major as well as Patrick Cantlay.
Glad Scotty shit head didn't play well.

PGA 1-0 LIV
Brooks, Phil and Patrick Reed tried and came pretty close. Still, a loss for LIV nonetheless.

I owe this win to Greg Norman for changing my life ... LIV is the greatest.

A loss for LIV? They've poached a lot of great PGA'ers from the tour and will probably get more in the future. If not for those guys it would have been a complete lopsided victory for Rahm. Nobody wants to watch a final round when dude's up by 8+ strokes throughout the match.
Koepka made more cash last weekend by winning some random tourney in Orlando than Rahm did winning the masters yesterday.

Couldn't have asked for a better 30 holes of golf to watch on the final day, loved seeing Phil in contention.

The final round of the Masters on Sunday averaged 12.058 million viewers, making it the most-watched golf telecast on any network in five years, CBS announced Tuesday. Compared to last year’s final round, viewership was up 19 percent. In 2018, the final round of the Masters had 13.045 million viewers.
The viewership is a big jump from last year’s final round (10.17 million viewers on CBS for Scottie Scheffler’s win) number, and very good news for the Masters given the lows of 2020 (which aired in November due to COVID-19) and 2021 (9.54 million viewers for the final round).

Golfers who stayed in the PGA have to be kicking themselves in the ass right now... Phil Mickelson was paid $200 mil to leave the PGA and join LIV... 12 months later he is back in the PGA :oldlol:
Guys like Tiger and Rory probably turned down offers of 500m+ while they spent the past year high horsing about how PGA was better than LIV because of kashoggi or some nonsense
Jasper

something tells me 10 years from now LIV will not exist... and everyone will be under the PGA umbrella.
The merge was a commercial

some more input : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FrqkJmb264
The bottom line is player ranking (impacted)
PGA America selection of Ryder cup (impacted) ?
Player choosing of tournaments to play (remember LIV players said they play to much and wanted to go to LIV to play less (what a fvck'n joke)
PGA will obviously retain their name , but they were BOUGHT .... trillion bucks ... who knows.
No mention of GREG fvck'n Norman ... the face of LIV
I have to believe it will become a joint golf world organization .... name to be determined , but I think will not impact the euro league as well as the PGA's face of golf.
