Of course the fact they were protesting for reasonable anti-gun violence laws---and were black--- had nothing to do with this in the Old Confederacy

Yes, any time a White person disagrees with a Black person or does something against a Black person, it's only because of their race. OP is a very smart individual.

No dipshit, they had the audacity to speak out against the Republicans God Almighty The NRA.
Of course being black in Redneck Tennessee was working against them also.

Three legislators participated in the demonstration.
Two were black men
One was a white woman.
Only the black men were expelled.
This is Tennessee.
The Deep South.
Trump Country.
Only Poopsie chooses not to see the racial element.

Rules? Silly Poopsie.
In 2019 Tennessee Republicans did not expel GOP colleague David Byrd, who was accused of molesting teenage girls when he coached their high school basketball team.
Byrd never denied the accusations but said he'd been "forgiven by God."
He was allowed to remain in the legislature and retire quietly.
At the time, Republican excuse was that expulsion should be used "rarely" and if ever only "in extreme circumstances."
What about the rules in this case Poopsie?
