I was talking to my gf the other day about this because we occasionally buy Bud Light. She said this whole thing is way overblown and the cans were created for the tranny and not available for public purchase in the US. I have no idea if that's true or not, but I don't feel like taking the few minutes to research it.
That said, big corporations are falling all over themselves to compete against each other on the Human Rights Campaign's "Equality Index". 380+ of the top Fortune 500 companies are active members on their index. The sad thing is it has nothing to do with equality, nothing to do with performance, nothing to do with everyone's opportunity and everything to do with equity. It's why China and Russia are licking their chops. The US is basically finding new ways of putting all the power in the hands of the big corps and government which will strengthen the elites but weaken the will of the populace and health of the nation overall. All our enemies have to do is wait for us to eventually implode from within

There's a clip circulating the internet of a vendor that stocks shelves at grocery stores talking about how he has already seen the effects of the boycott on Anheuser-Busch products and how it's affecting his wallet. He makes the claim that companies like Anheuser-Busch don't pay attention to their customer base and this is the perfect example. Who are the geniuses behind these companies that come up with the idea of "inclusivity" by being inclusive to a fringe demographic of apparent sick individuals in hopes that it would churn out a profit?? And look at what's happening now. It has backfired.
And in reality, there's no need to pander to a certain demographic or group of people. Beer is beer and anyone is free to purchase it and drink it. Budweiser commercials used to include frogs and Clydesdale horses and business was booming for them.

Boycotting something is always a personal decision. And it was 100% conservative folks who decided to take time off from the NFL because they were pissed at something that didn’t affect them and had nothing to do with them.
Once again you’re getting caught up in semantics. No one is saying that the house republicans decided to boycott the NFL.

But first, I do not hate RRR3, (or r3, like you call him) nor have I said anything hateful towards him. I'm the guy who literally stopped ragging on him like 3 years ago. Which was very difficult.
And second, are you aware of the enormous number of people who hate RRR3? He likely ranks in the top .5% of all the people in the world. Excluding famous people.
If you're going to judge it by hate for him, which I don't have, then you're going to have to include hundreds of other people.
A little bit of trivia. I used to come across the name starface on ish all the time, with no idea who he was. And did you know that it was RRR3 himself who explained to me who the notorious starface was. I was shocked.

Men now represent the opposite of Bud Light’s target audience, says the company’s VP of marketing.
In a shocking admission, a recent interview on the “Make Yourself At Home” podcast shows Bud Light’s Vice President of Marketing, Alissa Gordon Heinerscheid, stating that the brand’s focus is to no longer cater to “frat guys” to promote inclusivity.
Bud Light Exec Promotes Radical Re-Brand.
The VP made it abundantly clear that her first objective as head of marketing was to radically re-brand the Bud Light demographic. As part of Bud Light’s push for inclusivity, the brand is featuring female caricature Dylan Mulvaney as the new face of their target audience.
What a sad year for beer.
"I’m a businesswoman. I had a really clear job to do when I took over Bud Light, and it was this brand is in decline. It’s been in decline for a really long time. And if we do not attract young drinkers to come and drink this brand, there will be no future for Bud Light. So I had this super clear mandate. It’s like we need to evolve and elevate this incredibly iconic brand.
What does evolve and elevate mean? It means inclusivity. It means shifting the tone. It means having a campaign that’s truly inclusive and feels lighter and brighter and different. And appeals to women and to men. And representation. Is it sort of the heart of evolution? You’ve got to see people who reflect you in the work. And we had this hangover. I mean, Bud Light had been kind of a brand of frosty, kind of out of touch humor, and it was really important that we had another approach.
Now, the “first female to lead the largest beer brand in the industry” may have set back a generation of female marketers from ever reaching that job at a beer company.
Rather than owning up to the total marketing misfire, the out-of-touch Bud Light exec is all in on alienating men … or at least men that don’t behave as Dylan Mulvaney does.
To remind proud beer drinks and sane people of a bygone era where dudes could be dudes, OutKick founder Clay Travis shared the “Coors Light Twins” commercial … the peak of beer marketing.

But are sales increasing? Not from the looks of it. Negative publicity is not necessarily the same as any publicity in general. If sales increase, then props to them. But just people talking about it isn't translating over to more sales. Not everything that goes woke turns out profitable. In fact, it tends to be the opposite.

As I stated earlier, an overwhelming majority of the country does not agree with Transgenderism. They do not believe a man can one day wake up and become a woman. You equating that to a dog is an example of false equivalence. An overwhelming majority of people in this country own dogs. So for Budweiser to include dogs in their commercials was actually a "brilliant strategy". I'm sorry Bud, you lose this argument here.

Bud Light exec takes leave after boycott calls (https://apnews.com/article/bud-light-transgender-influencer-partnership-marketing-executive-234ac7cf05d2124ed6ff7162e4771a43)
NEW YORK (AP) — The marketing executive who oversaw a partnership between Bud Light and a transgender influencer is taking a leave of absence after it snowballed into cries for boycotts from some angry customers, according to media reports.
Alissa Heinerscheid, Bud Light’s vice president of marketing, will be replaced by Todd Allen, most recently global vice president of Budweiser, according to reports from Beer Business Daily and Ad Age.
A spokesperson for Bud Light’s parent company, Anheuser-Busch InBev, on Saturday did not directly confirm the leave of absence but said Allen as vice president of Bud Light will report directly to Benoit Garbe, U.S. chief marketing officer. The company also made streamlining changes so that its most senior marketers are more closely connected to all of its brand activities.

All that matters is their revenue. We'll see where that goes and I'm sure just like NFL and everything else on the right's cancel culture list it will go up.
Remember when the kneeling was going to be the end of the NFL?

It's not really though. Even if you remove the really bad COVID season of 20-21. The average NFL regular season viewership for the 6 years after Kap's kneeling has averaged 16.3mil. the 6 years prior averaged 17.5mil
That said I think the whole Bud Light fiasco is kinda silly. It's not like Bud Light created this can to push it on it's consumer base

It's a marketing ploy to get everyone talking about Bud Light.
Place your product at the center of political debate, tons of viral publicity.
They know when the smoke settles their brand name will be that much more ingrained into our heads.
I doubt that, like who hasn't heard of Bud Light before? I get the no publicity is bad publicity but this is really really bad publicity :lol I doubt Bud Light disappears though, rednecks are their core demographic, their taste in beer is as bad as their taste in music, just sell it cheaper and there you go.

I drank Bud Light once and never again, I'm not a beer person tbh
Bud Light is possibly the worst beer ever, and I'm not being hyperbolic. Try a Blue Moon or a Negra Modelo before swearing off beer

Those are both awesome beers but they are not competing for same consumers or price points.
Tecate Light and Coors light are worse than Bud light IMO. To make it worse is TL only has 3.9% alcohol. Of the cheaper mainstream beers Rolling Rock in cans is the worst I've tasted. In the bottle it's not bad though

Amstel Light is better than Corona Light. Of the cheaper beers Miller Light is pretty good. Idk why Bud Light, Coors Light and Michelob Ultra continually outsell it

I'm not a light beer drinker, rather not drink any beer at all than drink watered down beer. There's not a light beer that I ever tasted that made me want to change my mind. Of the cheap American beers, I'm into Miller High Life, in bottles please

The pain continues for Bud light. It's stock has now been downgraded by major analyst firms like HSBC. Sales are down for the entire line of Anheuser Busch, not just Bud Light, and still showing no signs of improving while competitor's sales are going through the roof.

The damage to their sales keeps steadily increasing but it looks like it's about to flatline. Some analysts are predicting Bud Light will permanently lose up to 12-13% of it's customer base because of this. It's already lost 16 billion in market share. I personally thought the damage would have been already dwindling by now. Should be interesting to see how Memorial Day sales are affected.

That graph more or less illustrates what I've been saying. So there is just a 25% max dip in ONE Anheuser-Busch product (Bud Light). They own Michelob, Corona, Stella, Natural Light, etc.
Earnings could still be up year over year and all the while you fools are pounding their brand into everyone's head. Brilliant marketing.

Off the Court's definition of a "brilliant marketing strategy":
1. Company pulls commercials and ads immediately after backlash
2. Company loses billions in market shares
3. Company is forced to buy back their product in order to help retailers
Also, while we're at it, Off the Court's definition of physics is:
1. Up is down
2. Down is up
3. Left is right
4. Right is left

So, with the NFL rumbling, bumbling, stumbling past the sixth week of the season, somebody has to ask the obvious.
You mean, a record $18 billion for this?
That’s how much Sportico.com determined in July the NFL made last season in total revenue courtesy of an attractive product for everybody — stretching from television executives to big-money sponsors to diehard fans hugging the most popular sports league in the United States.

Charles Barkley sent a strong message over the weekend to those boycotting Bud Light.
A video on TikTok, via @NBA24Highlights, showed Barkley at a California bar where he bought a round of drinks before he presented a PSA, Barkley style.
“Hey, let me tell you something,” he started, per Mediaite. “All you rednecks or assholes who don’t want to drink Bud Light, (expletive) y’all. Hey, y’all can’t cancel me!”
It appears he got a mixed review from the crowd.
“Hey, I ain’t worried about getting canceled because let me tell you something, if y’all fire me and give me all that money, I’m gonna be playing golf every (expletive) day. So listen, as I said last night, if you’re gay, God bless you. If you’re trans, God bless you. And if you have a problem with them – (expletive) you,” Barkley said.
