Couldn't plan it any better.

Pelicans got lucky with late calls against Grizzlies and Knicks resting their 2 stars.

If the Lakers end up the 7th seed, the winner of this match-up won't have too much of a difference though lol.

Could very well see these 2 teams play it out for the 8th seed again. But this game would decide the home court of that match-up.

Tough break for Minnesota.

They've been better without Gobert all year.

Gobert punching Kyle Anderson in the chest.

He gone.

Mavs should keep their track record of getting miscontents and trade for him. Send Kyrie their way. It could work for both.

Another terrified LeBron Stan scared of having to play the Timberwolves

Never seen a player fan base so shook of having to play against competition

BI stepped up but there's nothing you can do when you don't even get the ball lmao.

CJ drives and gets his shit swatted by Ant
CJ bricks an open 3 in transition, Herb Jones misses the wide open putback
CJ turns the ball over under his own basket and gives up an and-1
CJ misses both FTs down 5
CJ bricks a wide open layup down 3 but Pels keep the ball, Trey gets fouled on his 3 attempt and no call

Wolves were begging to lose that game but CJ had other ideas I guess. At least it's an easy W for the Lakers in the Play In.

CJ was awful yes but Tatum would have demanded the ball. Ingram did not.

Wolves doubled BI and forced others to beat them in the 2nd half, but there were moments where CJ could have kicked it out to BI but decided to play hero ball. CJ is not someone who just gives up the rock just cause you demand it. BI did his job w/ 42/12/7 and +8 but the team outside of him shot 2/18 from 3 and made some awful plays. This should have been a blowout W but of course the lack of a supporting cast caught up with them.

maybe the punch is what they've needed all year to get them going

No excuses. You would blame grampa LeBron for the same game, if Ingram is better than Tatum he needed to demand the ball.

This is not how basketball works. Maybe you should stop listening to Skip Bayless and actually try to look at what's happening on the court lol. Tatum has the best spacing in the league while the Pels barely shoot 3s (albeit at a high percentage, but only like 3 of their guys consistently shoot them and BI is one of them).

I guess that's what you call 'empty stats' since it was done on a loss. :oldlol:

The other punch of McDaniels against the wall backfired though. Apparently he has a broken hand :facepalm
