After Kobe Retired:

- Wins oscar talking about basketball.
- Does countless interviews talking about the game.
- Had amazing analysis on plays with "detail".
- Was working on children's books
- Heavily involved with coaching and promoting women's basketball

Amongst many other things. Imagine having Kobe for another 20-30 years.

I miss Kobe sometimes.

RIP mamba

He was huge for the game, still had alot more to give for sure. One of the most polarizing to ever do it but you had to put some respeck....on his name.

He was also savvy in business, he made a $6 million investment in a sports drink and turned it into a $200 million dollar return.

Ikr. But the academy itself could have been within the metro, not outskirts of it.

the whole promoting women's basketball thing always screamed "i sexually assaulted a woman when i was younger, then as a father had a bunch of little girls and now i feel bad."

This I agree with. I wasn't a fan when he played but I got to respect what he did after retiring. I respect the authenticity and the drive and willingness to influence/help others are respectable.

Sentiment when he was alive was he was mediocre at everything you laid out

His details show was underwhelming

The Oscar was a joke, given off name value alone

Working on children books? :lol

Supporting his daughters basketball hobby? :lol. Whi cares.

He did nothing noteworthy after retiring.
