Austin Reaves.

This is the #1 option on the Lakers.

This is the #1 option on the Lakers.

The reason the Lakers won game 1 is because Lebron played like the fourth option that he is. If he's willing to relegate himself to being fourth option and not dominate the ball and chuck up 20+ shots, the Lakers will be nearly unbeatable.

I'm not sure he's capable of playing that role though, so if I were Ham, I'd bench his non-defense playing ***.

Did you watch the game yesterday? He actually played well defensively. Made a few big plays on that end and generally put forth solid effort.

No, he did not.

He had a couple of good defensive plays, and the rest of the time he was crap. Did you see Jaren Jackson feasting on him in the paint?

If you call that a "solid effort"....then I don't even know what to tell you.

I'd say he's about as good as Tobias Harris so far.

Every playoff team has at least 4 players as good or better than Reaves.

Watching the Warriors-Kings series for example, both teams have at least 5 players as good or better.

Warriors - Curry, Klay, Dray, Wiggins, Poole
Kings - Fox, Sabonis, Huerter, Barnes, Monk

Same with the Bucks, who have Giannis, Middleton, Lopez, Jrue, Portis. Same on the Suns. Obviously.

And these are just off the top of my head. In reality Reaves is an average-at-best #3 for a playoff team

Reaves is great, but you only notice him because he plays on lebron's team.

I watched the entire game. He was at least guarding Jaren Jackson. JJJ had a great game and made some shots but he continued to stick with it.

This wasn't a lazy defensive effort. Obviously he's not a great defensive player anymore but he competed throughout the entire game and eventually got some stops. He won't be benched for the way he played defense the other day.

Well...he won't be benched in general for various reasons. But definitely not for what you're talking about.

Forget about lecturing him. Now matter how hard he tries, everyone here knows that he just makes those stupid junk ass narratives 24/7 for the sake of proving in this board that he has two dead brain cells not capable of overlooking anything about lebron most of the time. :oldlol:

(In b4 a whiny bitch fit by the forum nazi jizzrag hours later ;))

How's westbrick doing now? Oh a little better. Maybe it wasn't him. Try to stay on topic. Who's the next scapegoat?

Had 4 points & 5 turnovers just the other night, went 3-18 vs the Suns in the playoffs which pretty much cost the Clippers the game and the series.

Your Westbrick obsession is weird. He's trash.
