One of my first real fights I got punched in my forehead area and I fell and rolled backwards. I’m talking grass stains on my shoulder backwards. And I immediately sprang up and continued the fight and it got broken up with no solid result. Onlookers though were of the opinion I got rocked, and I’ve spent years regretting that my instinct was to fall when I wasn’t even hurt. It’s like I was talking a charge. Later, I literally could not even feel the head shot, but was hurting for days where he hit me in the body.

I never really got hit that clean again but my theory is I might have a chin but had not yet outgrown my bitchly childish instinct to fall when hit. One thing for sure….I will always hate myself for letting him think he put me down. I sold that shit like a wrestler and looked like an absolute ho to probably 6 people I feel like I have a window directly to my soul.

you got dome rocked, it's understandable. i've gotten hit in the chin and it didn't faze me, but a hit to the head made me feel like i was in 3rd person.
