His only chance at reelection is if it is vs Trump who is just as old and senile. Most everyone understands that Biden's votes were to remove Trump and if we get a repeat it's going to be a sad time in the US.

Is Biden a great POTUS? no he is not. But I do believe the majority of issues this country is facing is not due to Joe Biden, it's due to inflation fueled covid aftermath that pretty much every single country on the planet is currently facing.

I do not like DeSantis but at least he isn't 100 and at least he isn't the type to cry foul and declare that everything is rigged. Please republicans, do the right thing here.

I posted on here about 2 days ago that Biden has less than 50% approval rating. The Demo party 51% against him running again.

Trump on the other hand has 60% against him.

Can't make it any clearer than that.

We need young blood to run for this position , and we need a pro-active third party to bust up this two party race of shit.

The Democrats' biggest blunder was their choice for Vice President. This all would have been a perfect transition for even a moderately competent person to step in and be the candidate. It was obvious from the beginning that Biden was basically too old. But no.....The Democrats have Kamala Harris, a political dead-end. It has been immediately clear that she is completely out of her depth, fully incompetent. And now the Dems have nobody....at least nobody mainstream. You have RFK jr. but he's too progressive for the very conservative mainstream Democrats. They will try to destroy him like they did to Bernie.

100% ( I stated this a year into this administration)

Demo's I think were concerned with the front of woman's votes ,, which in my opinion was not necessary after the March on the capital right after Trump was elected.
(They knew he was a commi)

Biden really should in this election pick a different running mate.

you know how this works. it's all a front for the black vote - she's nothing more than a token candidate. without that black vote secured, especially in the primary, biden is nothing. in addition to that, after the way bernie embarassed biden in iowa, nh & nevada last go-around, it's why the dem machine recently moved SC up to #1 and bumped the aforementioned on down the list.

...and that's the scariest part about this announcement. joe biden will be 82 years old if he's sworn in for another term in 2024 and if he's still half alive in 2028, he'll be 86. that makes the prospect of a harris presidency an even higher possibility this go around.

Preposterous. Kamala was chosen strictly on her credentials and her experience, her race/gender wasn't even factored into the equation when selecting her.

If Trump wins he will be the same age Biden was when elected.

From that poll info that came out yesterday it showed 70% of Americans don't want Biden to run and 60% don't want Trump to run again. That number favors Trump but it also shows the majority of this country don't want either of these fools in office again. We need some new younger candidates.

If it's Trump again I think Biden has a 50/50 shot.

TDS is still more powerful than BDS. The hatred America has for Trump is probably the only hope Biden has at being voted in again.

when you're talking about people in their eighties, nineties and beyond, it varies by individual. you can have a 103 year old whose is sharper and more able than an eighty year old. it all depends on lifesytle, genetics, diet, a whole number of factors. if trump and biden were both eighty for argument's sake, biden would internally actually be more like... nearly ninety. just look at bernie as another example. this guy hasn't lost a step since his first campaign in 2016.

Honestly, the US has had 2 very bad presidents in a row and can't afford to continue on with this trend. Both parties need to get their act together and produce someone to stabilize the situation. Domestically, huge problems remain unaddressed. Internationally, the power and influence of the US is going down the drain. The country desperately needs good leadership and it needs it very, very soon.

Everyone hits senile at some point and that point can hit at anytime after age 70. No matter who you are or how sharp you seem. Once you hit 70 you are officially old. Bernie, Trump, Biden, all these guys might be lucid at this very second, but next year any one of them could be completely gone.

Age 55 is probably ideal for a POTUS. Not too young, not too old. Brain is still physically fit and wisdom of life has been obtained.

The media wants us to believe this but I do not think it is actually true. If we are to look at inflationary problems striking most nations the US is doing much better than most and the US dollar is stronger than ever right now. Thanks to the Russian war we have also taken the EU's oil exports and now have that revenue flowing into the country.

China's GDP is catching up to ours but still not expected to get us until sometime around 2035. Anything can happen from now until then.

I feel like the good candidates don't want to step up or get involved in politics. People have given up so much on politics that they just aren't entering it. There was also once enthusiasm about running for president. That doesn't seem to exist anymore. It's seen as a burdensome job and too much hassle that people opt for other fields.
