I'm pretty sure this is inaccurate. I want to find somewhere to watch this game in full, not just to find out whether or not you're wrong, but because it is a uniquely memorable performance that still gives me chills.
But I'm pretty sure this shot was either right before the start of the third quarter, or some time in the middle of the third quarter. Just speaking from memory.

I woud have thought this is the case, but I just watched some highights of the game, and this seems to be the picture as Mike Breen goes into his commentary right before tip off...

That whole game pretty much confirmed to me that if LeBron James was as crazy as Jordan was in terms of competition, he would be the undisputed best player ever. But, LeBron is a nice guy and he's not that guy. He does not seem to have a ton of anger in him despite the fact that he didn't know his father. Most of the time he's rather joyous. I'm pretty sure Jordan's seemingly unrelenting anger came from his relationship with his father. But hey, woulda coulda shoulda. LeBron is deeply insecure but he's probably lived a happier life than Jordan. Happy life or best player ever... who knows such things?

People don't understand how much pressure he was under before this game, on the verge of being eliminated, down 3-2 while the year before he had a disastrous Finals. If Miami loses that game, LeBron would have been seen as a complete joke to most fans, he responded by dropping 45 points. This is the game that changed his legacy.

One quote from Bill Simmons' article about this game captures, in my opinion, why this game was supposedly so important or "legacy changing".
You can’t imagine what this was like to witness in person. I know Michael Jordan had similarly astonishing games, and others, too, but not with stakes like that. This wasn’t just an elimination game. This was LeBron James’s entire career being put on trial … and it only took an hour for him to tell the jury, “Go home. I’m one of the best players ever. Stop picking me apart. Stop talking about the things I can’t do. Stop holding me to standards that have never been applied to any other NBA player. Stop blaming me for an admittedly dumb decision I never should have made. Stop saying I’m weak. Stop saying that I don’t want to win. Stop. Just … stop.”

Some more gems from this excellent, amazingly accurate account of that special performance:
He single-handedly murdered one of the giddiest Celtics crowds I can remember. Thirty points in the first half. Thirty! All with that blank look on his face. It was like watching surveillance video of a serial killer coldly dismembering a body and sticking the parts in the fridge. Only we were right there.
The fans were so shell-shocked that many (including me and my father) filed out with three minutes remaining, not because we were lousy fans, not to beat the traffic, but because we didn’t want to be there anymore. We wanted to get away from LeBron. He ruined what should have been a magical night. We never really had a chance to cheer, swing the game, rally our guys, anything. He pointed a remote control at us and pressed “MUTE.” It was like being in a car accident. LeBron James ran over 18,000 people.
I was not lucky enough to be in the arena for that game, but just watching it on tv I was aware that this was a very rare kind of moment in sports. Looking back, it's as if LeBron's career itself is a story, and this was the turning point.
As a huge fan of the sport, who was highly invested in LeBron at the time, I still remember exactly how I felt about him and that team leading up to that performance. It was like my LBJ fandom had been fool's gold... I really was at the point where I wasn't sure I would ever root for him again. I was on the brink of being convinced that all the narratives about him were, and always would be true. I thought I was about to watch Miami get blown out in lackluster fashion, then watch them blow up that team in the offseason.
But then!
