View Full Version : The Lakers improvement makes no sense. How does this boost Lebron's legacy?

It seems like the Lakers have been getting calls since Lebron threw his tantrums to the NBA. Right now Lebron is a solid player, but isn’t himself. Whether it’s injury related or not, Lebron isn’t driving as often and his 3 point shot is inconsistent. That means that Davis is the best player.

Warriors have already swept Davis in the playoffs, so we know that he is not invincible.

And now all of a sudden the Lakers are succeeding? How does Lebron get the credit? The one thing he’s doing is playing off the ball, which is actually a good thing, but it seems like it’s the only way he can play now.

Let’s just be one hundred percent real. The Lakers succeeding based on getting more free throws and not getting called for fouls makes no sense. Even when I listen to sports radio broadcasters, they say that it’s wrong but the announcers would get fired if they told the truth.

So that’s one reason I’m not impressed if the Lakers win. They are getting calls that have never been done before in this league. They have some good players, but Reaves is not a superstar and no reason why he should be getting all these free throws. Shroeder and some of these other players are fine players, but they are not hall of famers and stars.

So their success doesn’t make any sense. The Lakers are really a borderline playoff, play in team, but their newfound success coincides with the free throw differences. Even if you say Warriors are a jump shooting team, this applies to all of the teams. Ever since Lebron threw that tantrum, they are getting more free throws.

How does this help Lebron’s legacy?;

bron called up adam silver after the game while throwing a tantrum to get green’s foul retroactively upgraded to a flagrant 2 and be suspended for close out game at oakland

sucks because he had a chance to win legit and perhaps even cancel out the GOAT choke of 2011 and still have a run for GOAT

he pissed it away in 2010 with the decision, then pissed it away with his subsequent goat choke in 2011, could have somewhat rectified it with 2016 but instead settled for an asterisk ring out of desperation

the lakers arent a borderline playin team anymore. over half their season was with westbrook and none of their new guys which includes 3 rotation pieces and 2 starters. AD getting swept is irrelevant when that was 2015 ad with a much different team vs a much different warriors team.

Who are those 5 players? D Lo was never a good defender for us

i meant 3 total players. dlo has been a good offensive player this year, he's still helping the team. Vanderbilt and rui are the other 2.

that might have something to do with the lakers turnaround this season.
