I don't have snapchat so I'm not familiar with the culture. But my single friends have it because they say it's an easy way to nonchalant way to hit up vulnerable women for casual encounters. Is that how it's used?

Snapchat is not a dating app whatsoever, you use it to talk to people you already know.

Its an avenue to connect with someone you already know or have met in person

Yeah I figured you'd have to organically add people. But once in their snaps it sounds like a meat market. Or maybe my buddy is just a douche

Its true ive heard men want to talk to women through snapchat. Maybe cause you can send pics that are only viewed once. But you can do that on insta now also. I guess snap has a more private enclosed feel.
I always thought of snapchat as a filtering app compared to others that are truly dating-oriented ones lol.

You're probably in that generation that lives on Tik Tok as well. I guess us older hacks use it as a way to keep tabs on each other
