Embiid isn't given special treatment compared to the norm for a superstar. He flops like mad but lots of players flop. It's just part of the game.

he does get away with a lot of dirty plays. like hitting people in the nuts, stepping on someone's head, shoving them across the court...refs just look the other way.

He didn't mean to step on Williams like that. Williams himself thought it was an accident that's why there was no bitterness after.

i know. but there's quite a few incidents with joel where he didn't quite mean to...but did. people like that aren't going out and blatantly punching someone in the face, but the way he falls and flails around IS reckless. it's not something you can punish bc he has plausible deniability on his side, but again...just putting all your weight into a fall that just happens to take someone else down or stepping on someone or his arm happened to swing in a certain direction. sure pal.
