Lol, I honestly wouldn't consider AD the best in the league, he's too passive offensively for my liking. But he was the best player not to make an All-NBA Team, which is what I thought OP was asking. Either him or Booker/KD.

That has happened but unless the player is extremely dominant it should not. NBA even just passed a role that bat future players from such honors of they play under 65.
