The Suns, league sources say, are expected to explore the feasibility of trying to lure Tyronn Lue away from the Clippers after tonight's abrupt dismissal of Monty Williams as coach.

I guess the rumor about Ty Lue being unhappy with his situation may have some legs to it.

No if he is sick of the Clippers is because his two best players seem to be a lock to miss over a quarter of the season and it gets worse as he gets closer to the playoffs. Westbrook isn't perfect but he shows up.

Phoenix is a great place and he'd have a much better chance at winning with KD & Booker as opposed to two injury-prone stars who are never healthy together in the POs. Suns have a legitimate shot at a title next year once they get rid of Ayton & CP0 for depth since those two basically gave them nothing in the POs while taking up over a 3rd of their cap space.

Lue rather put up with 200° summer weather then deal with Mr. Load Management Leonard and his side kick PG.

Ishiba is trying to be the next mark Cuban aka owner/quasi-gm. In other words a narcissistic billionaire who values his personal imprint over the team’s success. The KD trade was the first circus act. Suns might have been better off under Sarver.

Doesn't matter how much you make, everyone wants to keep more of their money if they can. $7m goes a lot farther in Phoenix than in Los Angeles. I live in downtown San Diego so I'm speaking with a bit of perspective.

On Zillow I'm looking at a 2600 sq ft home in the Phoenix area for under $500k. You're paying at least 4x that much in LA, easy.

And for basketball reasons, the Clippers have gone about as far as they can with him.
