View Full Version : I have never seen Embiid dominate a playoff game start to finish

Even AD has done so on MANY occasions.

Jokic obviously has, he does so pretty much every game.

Look at this weak playoff track record:

In a of these 52 games, many of which were high caliber, he thoroughy dominated like 4. One against the Wizards, 3 against the Hawks, all 2021. But those arent the highest caliber of opponents.

Will Game 7 be a turning point for him?

I dont think so.

Yeah, it's a cliche to claim someone is mentally weak, but he does seem mentally weak. Gets shut down mentally, once he gets blocked or bullied a few times.

28% from 3 should tell you all about that. And despite this, Embiid still starts most of his possessions around the 3 point line.

He has, I've seen it a couple years ago against the nets, pre-kd I think. I just find it surprising that he's shot poor %s for someone so big and dominant

His game isn't suited for the playoffs. He's a jump shooting big man who is extremely slow and turnover prone when played with intense playoff defense. Not a good enough shooter or passer to actually be effective.


Watching him late in game 6 I was happy every time he had the ball because I knew it was an ugly brick. Tatum drilling 4 out of 5 threes to end the game and watching Embiid quit with several minutes on the clock was amazing.

Him winning MVP means I won't be back after the finals and am done with the sport. But one last lebron run will send me off happy

ofc pre-KD they never played them with KD. Which ones?
