Basketball is evolving not Devolving. The games is much faster today. Your PF and Centers needs to be a decent 3 points shooters in today's game.

Out of all the all-time legends if feels like Larry Bird & Jerry West are the only ones who truly gave respect to the current era, funny enough both had some success as head coach and GM. None of that "back in my day" BS talk we heard from guys like Wilt.

I think AI gives respect to the current era too, but he isn't as rated as highly as Bird and West.

Everyone else that I seen talk down on the current era except for a few players.

You get that from every era tho. When this gen retires, they might talk down to some of the next gen too.

Some of the bashing is excessive yeah, but it's okay to point out the differences between eras and how it's easier to score in today's league due to rule changes & spacing. That's just a fact.
