Well, they aren’t on the come up but they are built to win this year or next and then it’s probably a complete tear down of the team. There is no GM that is going to take a team in the conference finals and trade their 1st or 2nd best player for a draft pick, that’s stupidity. You can count on one hand rookies that have led teams to championships and have fingers left over.

Victor will be a good player, but it will take time. Honestly don’t get the generational player thing from him any more than I get it from Chet. They will be very good players but I don’t see them playing 38 minutes a game and carrying a team. Victor’s team record this past season was 23-11, in the French league, not the euro league. Tremont Waters averages almost 20 in that league. You can find videos of stronger, smaller guys bullying him inside. Also he doesn’t seem to have the foot speed to stay with NBA guards in a high screen situation. His wingspan will make up for a lot but expectations are a bit too high for this kid right now. You put him in the western conference finals right now and Jokic/AD would murder him.
