you can use that 'common sense' approach for a lot of billion dollar businesses...yet they are ultra succesful. "you pay for someone to pick up fast food for you?"

it's the casual setting that makes it different from going to your local park. you can take a date there or hang with some friends an have a casual competition over drinks and food.

these types of places are a big thing for corporate outings.

Could say the same thing about top golf, you could pay 5% of the money spent there going to a driving range. It's the entertainment aspect, the food, drinks, atmosphere. A woman won't want to go to the driving range for a date but they're down for topgolf.

Sounds awesome. I live near a Top Golf and it's the only reason I'd go to the driving range. Otherwise it's too monotonous. Looks like they have the former CEO of TopGolf involved.
