View Full Version : We all see why the 2020 bubble ring don’t count. Fans and Pressure can not be ignored

Some players crumble under the brightness lights as evidenced by all the 4th quarter chokejobs by Lebron James in these 2023 playoffs.

Having actual fans in a crowded and electric stadium actually add pressure to every playoff game. The bubble was a mere practice scrimmage with no fans, no traveling to other states and zero pressure to win.

Funny how if you base your entire legacy on a bubble ring and a lockdown season ring and superteam rings how easily that house of cards can crumble in any debate.

By acquiring AD in unprecedented and almost controversial fashion, the Lakers were uniquely motivated to get the bubble chip, while everyone else could care less by comparison

Yes the bubble ring doesn't count because a 7 seed beating only the 2 seed and not the 1 is indicative of The Lakers not being great.

Couldn't have been Westbrook as an albatross acting like a team making the conference finals isn't successful is pure insanity.

It was rumored that Jimmy Butler may have been fking Rachel Nichols in between games. No one gave two shits about those scrimmage games.

Giannis said it best, it was the toughest season ever in the history of the NBA. No advantage, everyone got for once put on an even field and just had to find out who the baddest mfers and ballers are. Strip all the noise, public pressure on refs, family softness and just ball to see who the best perform under the most difficult and hard conditions the world has ever seen.

It's like giving all the F1 drivers the same car and see who performs the best. No cry babies, no softies, only the baddest dudes survived. The fact that the same teams are in the finals just proves that those were the best teams and players and the ones who won under the hardest circumstances actually should have their ring counted for 3. It was 3 times harder than this soft bs that we usually have.

Keno

so you just admitted that the 2020 bubble ring was the hardest because all the players were playing evenly without pressure, nice one.

Winning on the road and playing games every 2 days with travel is hard.

We see what Bran is without 5 months of rest going into the POs. Those 3s come up short and he struggles to even make layups in the 4th quarters.
