We need to re-assess how we define greatness, and maybe come up with a new term like 'consistent goodness' to encompass a more realistic view of how we rate basketball players.
KD and Booker (in everyone's top ten, KD top 15 all time).
LBJ and AD (in most people's top ten, LBJ top 2 all time for many).
If Boston wasn't such a colossal bunch of pussles they'd probably rate Brown and Tatum higher for the Finals.
Jokic, in everyone's top five (except Mark Jackson) and many people's top 3.
Murray, in nobody's top 25 (outside 30 for many).
How come, GI Jamal and the Joker absolutely falking curb stomped these 'far superior' talents?
What are the sabermetricians saying (Jokic is their darling, so they may be halfway there)?
What is the 'America first, black racist' crowd saying (Jokic was mocked mercilessly by them because Embiid got him in a relatively meaningless regular season game)?
