Clueless pinoy midget

30/17/8 3 blocks in Game 2
26/14/7 2 stls 2 blocks in Game 3
36/7/7 3 blocks in Game 5
29/7/4 on 13/21 shooting in Game 6 to win the series

All of those in wins and he got the FMVP at 38 years old.

Kareem also averaged 29.3 ppg 1.7 stls 1.5 blocks on ~60%FG vs Dallas in the WCSF at 39 years old the following year.

Oh, and Kareem at 40 years old closed out the Celtics in the Finals with 32 points on 13/18 FG (72.2%) & 4 blocks.

Bran already wants to retire at 38 and he's nowhere close :lol

It was an amazing performance, made all the more so because he plays such a physical game in an era where the players are far more muscular, due to superior physical training, than they were in earlier eras.

To hold up after all the physical grind is pretty remarkable and it speaks to the work James does when no one is watching - the physical conditioning in the off-season in particular.

As a comparison, Dirk Nowitzki didn't put in similar work. By 33 or so, his contribution tailed off. He became less effective as a player. LeBron battled through injuries and remained a high impact player.

When I look at players like Jokic and Doncic, like Nowitzki, they lack the discipline to get in peak physical shape. Jokic is 28; if he doesn't pick up the habit that so many all-stars in the league have, which is to go to work in the offseason, he too will start trailing off in his early-mid 30s.

How'd he do in the 4th quarter?
