Will they keep this core together or go after Kyrie?

Irving isn't Westbrook, but acquiring him will lose them depth. I'm not sure about the specifics, but I doubt they can keep all of Reaves, D'Angelo, Rui, and Vanderbilt.

I'd rather have a squad that's proven itself. Small adjustments can be made. What do you think?

Checking the contracts now. Rui, Austin, and D'Angelo are free agents. Vanderbilt has one more year on a cheap contract; Beasley has a 16.5m team option.

How much are those three FAs getting? Rui I think gets anywhere from 10 to 20m. Austin and D'Angelo maybe 15-25m? I don't know.

Getting Kyrie without giving up Austin and Rui is the dream. Is it possible?

I’ll tell you what … those last two embarrassing attempts by LeBron (Dirk off the side of the board, and getting tied up by Murray then blocked by Gordon, on a predictable slow drive to finish with the left) will make him yearn for the leaveland days when Kyrie took the final shots.

That will be a factor in his pushing Pelinka and Buss to do whatever it takes to get Kyrie.
